A beautiful drive home...

For days before our trip home I watched the weather anxiously. Our entire trip, I monitored and worried about the road conditions. The ride down there we BARELY missed the storm. If we would have left an hour later, I-80 would've been closed and we would've missed our window. On the way home we had a beautiful drive! We squeezed home in the knick of time and enjoyed the pleasure of clear roads and beautiful scenery all the way home.

Mel's and the Temple

After we went on the bridge, we all headed to Mel's diner and then off to the temple lights.

Walking the Golden Gate

If anyone knows me well, they are well aware of my insane fear of bridges. never in my life did i think I would actually WALK the Golden Gate Bridge. I have been TO it and even OVER it in a car many times, but never did I think I would be walking it.

On our Christmas visit we all decided to go to the bridge and take a walk. I was happy to stay at the end, wave and look around in the gift shop. After we got a little separated while trying to find a parking spot, it was getting very dark very quickly, I ended up walking with the remainder of the group with much prodding.

Sooooo it was ADDED and crossed off the bridge in the same day. :-)





We were carrying the kids' jackets SURE they would want them once we caught up to them. We ended up having to make them put them on anyway. LOL It was COLD!!!


It did have a wonderful view though!


I did NOT like it, yes it was a beautiful view, but I was too scared to enjoy it completely.
