Reno River Festival

We went to the Reno River Festival again this year. It's just a few minutes from home and thank goodness the day we went was a beautiful day! The kids played in the water first and then went to the other part with the kayaks. Later we went to the park. (More pictures to follow)

Happy Mother's Day!

Cai Lynn's Kindergarten class had a "Muffin's for Mother's" at school on Friday.

They had an adorable skit and song prepared. What a treat to "leave" work, walk a few yards to the back of the school and see their little presentation! (Unfortunately it's her last year there... it's off to first grade in a couple of months!)

Sunday, Mother's Day, was spent at my mom's where we had a wonderful dinner. All of us were there! Jake, Jessica, Bryan and all the kids/grandkids! What a wonderful evening!

Noni comes to Preschool!

My theme this month in class is "Nature". We are studying all sorts of Nature and have had many different kinds of projects and visitors come into class. I asked my mom if she'd be able to come in and bring her little Bearded Dragons to share with the class again. Boy were they in Heaven! I had 15 that day so I split them up and sent them to her a few at a time. I took a TON of pictures and here are a few.

They really enjoyed seeing these little lizards sport their different hats.

They got to touch their bedding as well as a couple of the logs they have in their tanks.

I cleared it with Cai Lynn's Kindergarten teacher first thing in the morning and she was ecstatic to have them there! All the kids got a chance to hold the little beardies as well as come meal worms, the bedding, etc. What a great time they had! Thanks Mom!

Scouts

Michael has officially completed his Webelo badge! He has been working REALLLLLY hard and will be receiving his "Arrow of Light" VERY soon! He has passed everything off and now just has to wait for a Pack Meeting. Good Job Michael!

It's hard to believe That in a month's time I will have a Boy Scout and a Cub Scout at home! Man how time flies!
