Cai Lynn's Birthday at Noni's house

I just can't believe she is really six! As I've said before, "Where does the time go?" So much has happened in these past six years and we have all learned and lived a lot. Now in the first grade, Cai Lynn is such a sweet little girl and such a great little student! Her teacher is constantly raving about how pleasant she is (not always the way at home ;) ) and what a great little student she is.

Cai Lynn loves to be a girly girl but in the next moment she is desperately trying to catch up to her big brothers!

We love you Cai Lynn!

Jared gets scriptures...

As tradition, when they get baptized the kids get their own scriptures. Well, as many of you know Bryan passed away the day Jared was to be baptized. I didn't want him to have to wait another two months to get his very own scriptures so Sunday before church he was finally able to open them. He was SO excited... Hopefully he will learn to love them even more.

Now they both have their own set!

The Great Reno Balloon Race

Today we went to the Balloon races as we do every year. I work in the "Lost Children's Tent" and have the perfect view of the field. It is absolutely unbelievable! If you have never been, I would highly recommend it! There were over 100,000 people there this year and more than 100 balloons went up. The kids get passes to go up in the balloons too. It is such a GREAT time! Yes, we have to get up at 3:00 am but the kids are in bed before 7:00pm! Too bad we have to wait a whole year before we can do it again.

GO Wolf Pack!

Off to the rides...

Happy 6th Birthday Cai Lynn!!!!!

I just can't believe that my little baby is now 6 years old! Where does the time go?

The kids always open their presents before going to school... Cai Lynn took cupcakes to school.

Off to Fuddruckers for dinner. :)

They came and sang to her... she was SO embarrassed!

.... but she LOVED the ice cream!

Off to Target after dinner to pick up a couple of things. (literally two things :) )

Labor Day Weekend

Once again we were fortunate enough to go down to the Scottish Games. What a wonderful experience it was for all of us. Uncle Mark dances in the games every year. This year he was with a different group than before. The Dunsmuir group. They were phenomenal! We were so fortunate once again to be surrounded by more family. Hopefully next year more family will join us. :)

On Monday we were lucky enough to get together with Donald and Heather. They came home early from their trip. Yay for us because we got to meet little 3 week old Xara. What a cute little family they are.

Here are a couple of short videos of the "Mass Bands". They simply do NOT do the games justice!

The Weekend of September 29

After the Services, we got together at my mom's house and had dinner. I am so thankful for the family that I have.

This picture was actually taken the day before Bryan passed away. Michael, Jared, Uncle Mark, Auntie Crystel, Grandma, Matt and my mom all went to the Aces game. The batteries died after two pictures were taken. :( :(

Fast asleep after a very long day.
