Michael's McQueen Concert

This year's concert was a new one. They usually don't have an extra one with the orchestra, but this year they did. It was at the Pioneer Center. It was BEAUTIFUL!

They started out with the "Core Jazz" A Capella choir.

Then in came "big jazz" (Michael's group)

Then a combined mass choir

Back to "big jazz"

Intermission

Onto the Orchestra

She has never made it through one concert... ever.... music puts her to sleep QUICKLY!

We lost him about 3/4 of the way through

It really WAS a beautiful concert! Relaxing and amazing!

Apple Bobbing

We had a ward boundary change back in February, so this year we spent the Harvest Party with the Peavine Mountain Ward. A few years ago they decided to do it after Halloween to avoid costumes and just focus on fellowship and fun.

We had a great dinner of chili and soups followed by dessert and fun games. The Beehives were in charge of the Apple Bobbing station, so I didn't get any pictures of the Bean Bag Toss, Face Painting, Cake Walk, or any other game, however, I got some great pictures of the Apple Bobbing!

I only wanted a few apples in the water at a time, to make it a little more difficult.

I wanted them to wash their faces first.

Cai Lynn's turn

Chuck Layosa sets the bar pretty high!

Tod and Will try to jump on in.

Jared's turn

Mark Gonda's turn

Kyle Whaley's turn

Sean Neahusan takes a dive

After much, MUCH persuasion, Coleton and Michael finally do it.

Happy Halloween!

Another year....
Another year has passed us by. Hard to believe.

Jared started the day all dressed up. Several of his teachers were also characters from Duck Dynasty. He fit right in!

Everyone at work (almost) was dressed up. It was a great day!

I came home from work, snapped a few quick pictures and then ran Michael to his party. Cai Lynn and Jared ate, then ate again at my mom's before heading out for Trick-or-treating.

Duncan kept me company while I answered the door for all of our cute Trick-Or-Treaters. He also decided to help himself to a few treats. Thank goodness he tattles on himself, (and always has to eat with company) and brought the candy back to me.

Happy Halloween everyone!!!!!!
