Today we went to a puppet and magic show. It was really cute. It was a little community thing and the kids seemed to really like it!

St Baldrick's Day

I just wanted to post a little early this year since last year I got around to it very late. The boys once again are participating in our local "St Baldrick's Day" event. They raised money last year for this wonderful cause and are very excited this year to do it again. It takes place on St Patrick's Day, and they are very hopeful that they reach their goal or surpass it to help childhood cancer.

Another Photo Shoot

So I took the kids, to the University today for a little photoshoot. It has been unseasonably beautiful outside and I never thought it would be possible. And short sleeves no less! Here are a few un-cropped and un-finished pictures. (I will crop them when I have more time.)

The Buzz About Bees

This was yet another week at the library where we learned all about the secret life of bees. We got to make beeswax candles, taste different kinds of honey, watch videos, try on bee keeper clothes, and so much more. What a fun time!






Right before Michael once again had to go off to scouts.
(But he had a great time there anyway!)

Another Tuesday Night at the Library

We go just about every week to the library. The only time we miss it, is if we are out of town or Michael has an Honor Choir performance. It's free, fun and fabulous!


This week was all about "The Outback"

First the kids were read a story about the outback and what is in it.


Michael painted Cai Lynn's face just like the aborigines.


I painted Jared's


Then Jared wanted to paint his face by himself.

A Trip to the zoo

The day began with our California Science Museum tickets in hand. After finding out that the wait to even get into the building was at least 90 minutes long, we started to rethink our plans. Then we found out that they were only letting people in as the others came out... well, we all thought waiting a few months before trying to enter.

So, off to the zoo we went!
