A local Easter Egg Hunt..

The kids got back from their Dad's house just in time for Michael to go complete one his "Outdoorsman" badges. (He has now completed his Weeblow) I took Cai Lynn and Jared to one of the local Easter Egg hunts. This one was less than a mile from home and fairly low key so off we went. They had a puppet show, face painting, a raffel, and of course an egg hunt. (Michael made it back for the end of the hunt, but Jared grabbed some eggs for him.)

Off to the Mall of America

My best friend and I got to meet up in the land of 10,000 lakes. It was wonderful to re-connect and spend a relaxing girls' weekend together. I miss her so much! Next time we'll need to get the kids together, but this one was for us.

To Grandmother's House we go...

Grandma needed some time spent with us so off we went to her house. It was a spur of the moment trip, but she needed some TLC. I'm glad we went and spent a few days with her.


Not bad for approaching 90 years old!


The next day Auntie Crystel and I took everyone to the park for a chance to get out of the house.




These guys loved it too.



And of course Grandma found a friend.


And Auntie Crystel and the kids found squirrels and a woodpecker.

My little skiiers

This past week I was able to take all three of my kids up to the Mountain for a little skiing. They were GREAT! I could not believe how well Michael did! Jared went through ski school a couple of years ago, and fortunately he retained it! This was Michael's first time strapping on skis and Holy Cow he did GREAT! He was much better than his brother and sister and all three of them were better than I was LOL.

St. Baldrick's day

The Boys were on every local news channel this year. It was really fun to see them on TV. My mom, Cai Lynn and I were also on one of the channels.

What a great time it was and how inspiring. There were a bunch of women that shaved their heads as well. There were several children there as well that are currently going through treatment and their families were shaving their heads in support. What a wonderful experience. The boys are looking forward to next year already.
