At Hot August Nights the kids were given wrapped candies. One of them happened to be a warhead which I think were an evil invention but Michael of course loves them.

Unfortunately they got here much later than expected. They had come a long way and after weeks on the road we finally got to spend a few moments with them. I was so excited! The kids absolutely love getting together and have so much fun!

My one-handed " Burt wave"...

Baby hedgehogs

We were blessed with baby hedgehogs on my birthday. What a fun birthday present! There are five prickly little bundles. It was a couple of weeks before I could actually hold them so they are still warming up to us.


They are almost 3 weeks old here.... (three weeks the next day)

2nd and 4th grade can you believe it?!

So... here it is another year. Cai Lynn and Jared are on year-round school so it started last week. They are now in the 2nd and 4th grade! I absolutely cannot believe it! Where does the time go? My mom always told me the older I got the faster it would go. I believed her, but had NO idea how fast it really went! Michael is on traditional track now that he's in... wait for it... the 7th grade!!!! (He'll start in a few weeks.)

So for my birthday after work we all went to the Altantis for dinner. YUMMY! Jessica and the girls weren't able t be there but my friend Myra was! We went there last year too... it's an awesome buffet. MMMMMMMMMM
