Happy New Year!

The kids and I had a nice and relaxing evening at home on New Year's Eve. We watched movies, ate a bunch of naughty food, had some sparkling cider, and did some little fire crackers.

If you were wondering where Jared is, he was fast asleep on the family room floor. We all tried several times to wake him up and... nothing. I KNOW I took a picture, but I can't find it. :-( He was NOT happy the next morning, and we all assured him that we tried. LOL

Ice Skating

I've been quite a bit off-track with blogging, and I figured I should get started up again. 

So here we are back in January. Cai Lynn loves to ice skate. I just love to take the pictures! I'll let her do the skating. 

It had been awhile, but it didn't take long to get her skating legs back!

Jessica happened to end up there that day too! Sarah and Emily got to join Cai Lynn. 

The Grinch

Every year the 6th grade is highlighted at the Christmas concert. She tried out and worked so hard to get the part pf Cindy Lou Who and she GOT IT! I was SO proud of her! We tried out hair styles and went clothes shopping at the second hand store looking for the perfect "Who" outfit.
