Our trip to Salt Lake

We arrived after a long trip and after losing the hour we had acquired the day before at the amazing hotel where I gave Grandma a ride. Early Tuesday afternoon we went over to Provo where the family gathered for a wonderful dinner, and it began to snow... Much to our dismay the snowing continued off and on throughout the night. The kids had a wonderful time playing in it as the rest of us tried very hard to stay dry. Thursday of course was absolutely gorgeous.

The wedding was absolutely beautiful. There was a luncheon and reception both in rooms of the Joseph Smith Memorial building. What a wonderful experience and Chelsea looked absolutely gorgeous! Welcome to the family Jed!

We walked around Temple Square and visited the visitor centers. We even got to sit in on the choirs practice for Sunday's broadcast. It was just wonderful. What a peaceful time.

After six years of sharing our experiences and hardships, thoughts and fun April and I finally got to meet each other. We had a really nice time talking and watching each other's kids in amazement. It was like we had known each other for years, yet it was the first time we met. We got together at "The World's First KFC" oddly enough in Salt Lake and not in Kentucky. We will have to do it again!

That's enough for tonight...

I must apologize for not posting in such a long time. My computer crashed and I was without it for over a month due to a virus eating it;s way through everything I had.

Then when I got it back, life got in the way and prevented me from posting anywhere but Myspace or Facebook. Thanks for being patient and please comment when you can. It keeps me encouraged...

I will post more tomorrow and I promise to be more detailed.

Michael's 5th grade/Honor Choir concert

The first Honor Choir performance of the year was at the fifth grade performance. Way to go Michael! They do such a wonderful job! What a LOT of hard work. Practice is before school 3 days a week.

"The October Overture". Michael and Jared's school was the only Elementary school invited among the High schools and Junior High schools to this wonderful performance. They are absolutely amazing!

Scheels

Our New "Scheels" opens up...

This place is amazing. It has everything you can imagine for your outdoor needs. We spent 2 hours in there and we never spent a dime. It has a NASCAR simulator, ferris wheel, two enormous fish tanks (one salt water and one fresh), and everything you can imagine.

It's Autumn Time...
