Apple Hill

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh Nevada day. A day a lot of us get off to celebrate Nevada and head off to California where Apple Hill is MUCH less crowded and we are actually able to enjoy the outing.

The day was gorgeous! We were so lucky to get such a wonderful day being sandwiched between two rainy days.

One of the little farms had a cute pond where you can fish as well as feed the fish.

They took it right from you!

These pumpkins were 800 pounds!

A little late in the season we weren't able to pick them off the trees. Oh well, we had SO many to choose from! YUMMY!

Another photo-op!

Now off to lunch...

First a little playtime...

CUTE!

A wonderful day!

Ward Party

With a couple of parties in between, here comes our Ward Halloween party. First we had Chili, Soup, cornbread and pies. MMMMMMMM Then off to the games and of course Trunk-or-Treat.

Here we are...

She can't give up her sucker. Even during the parade...

"I wear my sunglasses at night"...

Aren't they ADORABLE!?!?!?!? I don't think he could feel his arms by the end of the night.

It was the Deacon's job to run a lot of the games...

School Halloween Party

This was the first of five Halloween Parties. Once again myself and one other was in charge of getting the school Halloween party together. With some wonderful help with games, food, etc it went off without a hitch! 600 children and their families had a wonderful time! This year only Cai Lynn and Jared attend this school. WOW! Where does the time go?

Ready to go!

Yep, that's me on the right. I was on food an drink duty at the time.

Bryan's Birthday

On October 23 Bryan would have celebrated his 28th birthday. We met in the morning at his grave site and then we all went to lunch.

When we got there one of his friends had already been there with a card, flowers and a ping pong paddle. (Bryan loved ping pong and even won tournaments.)

We also brought flowers

Bryan is with us every day even though we cannot see him. He is forever in our hearts,
