A Few Thoughts

After several days of almost constant worry, we drove down to my Grandma's after church in perfect conditions. There was no traffic and the roads were beautiful.

As I sit here on my Grandmother's couch at nearly 1:00 in the morning I'm feeling more than ever her loss. She was an amazing woman who touched the lives of so many. She was a hard worker, and knew the importance of a sense of humor and the love of your family. There were so many times I would talk to her in person or the phone and listen to the wisom she had after raising a family of six children.

She loved having my children around and asked about them often. She spoke about my sweet cousins, sister, their children, and the life she wished for all of us. After raising her six children she of course had a lot of funny and inspiring stories to share.

I know she is busy now getting reaquainted with the loved oned she lost long ago. I know she will be busy at work. I know she is now comforted instead of being trapped inside a body she no longer recognized. Even though I know all of this, I miss her terribly and will think about her daily, as will the rest of her friends and family she left behind.

I love you Grandma!
-until we meet again.
