An Amazing Christmas Program!

Some good friends who were in the program offered us some tickets and after work I grabbed the kids from their after school program, headed home, ate, changed and headed back out.

Unfortunately it had been a VERY long day (we were out the door at 7:00 and I got the kids at about 5:30) and the kids were VERY tired.

The music program didn't even start until 7:30 and it was two hours long, but it was VERY long for three kids that had been gone from the house for 14 hours. They caught about 1/2 of it. Either way whatever parts they caught, it was AMAZING!

This was during intermission....

After intermission, the chorale switched their costumes and the program itself had changed to being all about our Savior's birth.

Michael and Cai Lynn woke back up and finished the performance.

I just love this season!

Concert at Shopper's Square

Tomorrow will be their lasts concert(s) of the season. Tonight was the night we went to Shopper's Square. Michael went over with them and helped chaperone. I left work early and raced over there JUST in time to hear their first song. (I got there just as they were settling into their places on the ramp.) After a long day at school they all looked a little like ragamuffins.

I literally ran in.... he spotted me.

Not sure what word they were singing, but they all have the same pucker. LOL

The 6th graders are spotlighted each year in "Christmas Bills". This year it's Jared's turn.

LOL The sweet Mall Santa even came to watch.

I had to snap this picture quickly because people kept walking by, so they weren't ready. We have the same picture for the past 5 years....

Cai Lynn and Jared's Concert

Thursday is their concert at Shopper's Square, but last night they had their "winter concert". I love all of the concerts, but I REALLY REALLY can't wait until life gets back to normal and we don't have 7 concerts in 2 week's time. It was also the 3rd grade program, so some of the kids are dressed in regular clothes.

Right before we start

Getting ready for the "moment of silence" from Friday's events.

She has nothing to do with me or my kids, but she was "Facetiming" with her sweet husband (he was in uniform) while they watched their daughter's performance.
