Hanging out

As usual after Christmas we head down to the Bay Area at my Grandma's house. This year though it was tougher because my Grandmother is now unable to live in her home due to more needs. Even though we got to visit her daily while we were there, it wasn't the same.

However, we did have fun with the family while we were there.

At night we watched movies together...

We had some entertaining dancing from Auntie Crystel to "The Lonely Goatherd"

Relaxing with Jeddie Boy( And Ruby wondering what that dinging noise is coming from my phone,"

After Crystel dances she sits back down and quickly loses access to her own lap.

Christmas Day

Christmas Day hasn't been the same these past two years since Bryan's passing. We still begin the morning with Stockings and presents, but instead of morning scones made by me just for us, we have all met at IHOP at about 9:30am. (Of course leaving a big tip. :-) )

Santa came!!!!!

Onto the gifts

Her new Ruby slippers!

Now off to IHOP with my mom, sister, neices and my kids.

In the afternoon my mom met us at "Tangled", and in the evening we met back at my Mom's house for Christmas dinner and her gifts to the kids.

Christmas Eve

The Christmas Season is full of traditions. Christmas Eve for us has several. We begin the night with brand new pajamas, and head off to look at lights in them.

Footy pajamas this year

We stopped at the top to look down at the city lights.

A couple of the boys' favorites. LOL

I love all the stuff this one has... you have to take a really close look to at them.

And of course to see the temple's nativity

And then home to have some hot chocolate, apple cider, Luke 2, Night Before Christmas, cookies for Santa, and off to bed. :-)
