We have a local candy factory here and I want to take our residents there for a tour. Of course we had to test it out before hand! LOL SOOOO, I made an appointment for a tour and took the kids. I didn't realize we'd be truly receiving the royal treatment!
When we went in, I let them know who we were, where I was from, etc. The person who greeted us said, "OHHHHHHHHHHH you REALLY are going to get the royal treatment today! You'll be getting your tour from the owner!" Yippie!
The kids were thrilled to get to taste all of the free samples! Then we got to watch an amazing movie explaining how the chocolate is harvested, chocolate is made and eventually how the candy is made.
After the movie, we looked at all of the displays, etc.
On went the hair nets and ahead we went with the tour!
We loved looking at the factory!
We were cold in here.... chocolate doesn't like warmth as much as we do.
One of the perks of being the President/CEO of the company, is handing out all sorts of stuff to the tourists! The kids were in HEAVEN! At every turn, they were handed more samples!
These were the chocolate rocks.
That is one heck of a chocolate bar! (No, we didn't take it home. )
