A Trip to the zoo

The day began with our California Science Museum tickets in hand. After finding out that the wait to even get into the building was at least 90 minutes long, we started to rethink our plans. Then we found out that they were only letting people in as the others came out... well, we all thought waiting a few months before trying to enter.

So, off to the zoo we went!

The Crab Game

Cai Lynn has a new game that she likes to play.
It's called "The Crab Game". I'm not real sure where it came from,
but she has been playing it for a few months now.

It goes something like this...


"See I got your claw like this..."


"Now I got you claws!"








"Ah HA! You lose!"

The Temple Lights

Years ago we set a tradition to go down to the Bay Area and visit our family on the 26th and return home New Year's Eve. Even this year when we got several feet of snow in the mountains and the roads were really gross.

We left early in the afternoon on Friday to avoid the snow, but got a TON of mud instead! Oh well, Trevor and I gave it a good scrubbing when I got there. Thanks Trevor!

On Saturday we all jaunted off to see the temple lights. They were gorgeous as usual!
