Veteren's day

Every Day I enjoy my freedom. I can go to the church I choose, I send my children to a wonderful school, I wear clothing I choose to buy, I make choices daily. These choices are made possible by those who have fought for our freedom. I have friends and family members (both past and present) who have served or are currently serving in the armed forces. I hope those who have served or are serving in the military know just how thankful we are for their wonderful service as well as the families they leave behind.

Today we had the wonderful opportunity to attend the parade yet again. There are a bunch of pictures, but not even a fifth of what I took, and there were so many more opportunities. What an amazing tribute!

Waiting close to the beginning of the parade route for it to start.

About 45 minutes before it started. It was PACKED after this.

Watching the parade

Our local High School. There were about 10 local High Schools
that participated in the parade. (R.O.T.C. and a bunch of them had a band as well.)

Thank you for your service and sacrifice.

What a neat way to share Vetrans Day with your kids...Sometimes that holiday gets passed up unlike some of the others and I thought it was especially wonderful that you made sure to write about and celebrate it with them. You are such an awesome mom, you know that?
