Well, It's hard to believe, but Jared is now 11! Of course for weeks, he's been planning his birthday all the way down to the cake. (It had that all planned out too.) So we started the morning out as usual and opened presents as a family so he could celebrate all day long. Then I headed off to work. He then spent the afternoon with his best friend Blake who's mom took him out to afternoon ice cream where they were told they could get "anything they want". (It was a build your own place and from the description from both boys they were something amazing!) After work I picked up both boys from Blake's house and off to sushi we went. (Jared's favorite, and Blake's first experience.) Afterwards, we walked Blake home.

After sushi we went home and had cake and ice cream.
Jared had a LOT of sushi! I think his sushi coma is beginning to kick in.
Blake's house is up and over the mountain. It was a good excuse to work off the sushi.
We dropped Blake off and headed back home. :-)
(Jared took this... This water tower is directly over our house. Jared is OBSESSED with it. He loves it!)
As we were headed back home, Jared told me that every year his birthday gets better and better, but this year will always be his best. :-) Glad he felt really special on his day!
